Renishaw Ball Bar Testing

Our Renishaw QC20 ballbar kit offers your business the latest technology in ballbarring any type of machine ranging from both vertical and horizontal machining centers to lathe/turning centers. The ballbar testing targets and provides the following analyses:


  • Targeted maintenance – Ballbar 20 software ranks each diagnosed error according to its impact on overall machine accuracy. You clearly see the cause of the problem and, using the simulator, evaluate possible remedies. If maintenance does need to be called, you have the information you need to pinpoint the problem and minimize downtime.
  • Scheduled maintenance – With regular testing and the kit’s built-in "history" feature, you can identify potentially large problems early and schedule the proper maintenance to minimize disruption.
