Starting another rotary table rebuild. Rotary tables are a great way to add another axis to the machine but they need to be maintained with the same frequency and detail as the machine. Call for a chuck that’s lost grip strength. Chuck would not come off of the draw tube. Sometimes you gotta break out the saws all and start over. As in this case with a seized chuck in the draw tube. It’s important to remove and clean it once a year. Make sure that is apart of your PM process or you will be cutting the chuck off as well.
